Questions & Answers

Here we are with the most requested questions: What i should wear on New Years Eve Party? Which accessories? Should i spend a lot or just buy a low cost dress? Marie V. from Brussels, in particular, she  writes "I'm quite slim but my legs are fairly short and i have an undefined waist, which could be the perfect dress for my kind of shape to look taller?"
Well, in this post i will try to find a good question for each of those questions. Ofcourse all of you have different shapes and needs, so i will start with a "DO NOT!" tips, which are generally good for everyone and i will give you some figure-sexifying tips.

Always remember, don't look like the Christmas Tree next to you, i mean, avoid wearing earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, hair accessories, smokey eyes+ red lips+ a lot of blush  and too much bling bling in general, all them together, please! Isn't chic and you may look ridiculous and people won't smile because you look good. Before you go out, use that mirror you have at home and take off something!
You may have seen it on a fashion editorial, but that's not the real life, even if you want to experiment with your look, feeling special or creative, don't left elegance at home! Keep well in mind what are your weakness points, in terms of  body and face shape.
In the case of Marie, forget long tube dresses, forget bright colours, forget pumps with a huge platform,   forget big statement necklaces or earrings, go instead for a black cocktail dress with high waist and a generous deep V neckline ( where you will add 1 accessory, or a medium size sparkling earrings or a thin necklace with a little spark, a little strass for example), then invest in a extravagant small clutch and open-toe sandals, better if beige or light or neutral colour (not white please! gold and silver ok!), it will make your legs look longer and please don't forget to have pedicure done! A dark nailpolish is ok but only when your feet and nails are proper. It seems like a basic rule but i promise you, i've met so many models with horrible and shabby feet!
If you are single, this party may be a good occasion to get to know someone, so you should know few things that boys really don't like:
enormous earrings, strange hair, being too fashion (i know you would like, but you're not Sarah Jessica Parker, you must love yourself as you are and don't copy celebrities looks too much, again, that's not real life!), too much jewellery and too much foundation  that make you look like a wax figure.
So resuming, you need to find out your bodyshape and be onest with yourself, it doesn't matter if your body isn't like Giselle Bundchen's, you will look great only if you learn how to hide your weakness points and highlight your beauty. A recent research says that 87% of women/girls aren't happy with their body (one day soon we will have a proper post about it...stay tuned), that's makes me feel determined to help you to feel good about yourselves. Your basic body shape is decided the day you're born so we need to work on what mother nature gave you and make it more beautiful.
